9 weeks to race day: a full block fits

This is the sweet spot. A complete 12-week recovery-led build fits inside your runway with room for a base phase in front. Anchor the block to this date and every week between now and then has a reason.

R
Recover
Fix the nervous system first. Sleep, HRV, and the noise out.
A
Align
Fit the plan to your actual life, not the one you wish you had.
C
Condition
Minimum effective dose. The right sessions, done fresh.
E
Execute
Race-week protocol, pacing, contingency. Nothing new on race day.

Building for this one? Training plans cover the sessions, the weekly shape and how the block is paced. The R.A.C.E. Framework explains why it is built that way.

The route strings Hyde Park, Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens together under October leaves. It is flat and quick, but its real value is the experience. Entry is by ballot with charity places widely available.
