What happens
when recovery leads.
Three athletes, three starting points. A world-level competitor with almost no spare time, a self-described poor swimmer with a 70.3 on the calendar, and a club member who wanted training that fits a real life. Every quote below is their own.
Local competitor to
third in the world.
Ronaldo came in with the constraint most serious athletes actually face: not a lack of ambition, a lack of hours. Two children, a full life, and a sport where the margins at the top are tiny.
The starting point
Ambition, no hours
A local-level Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor and a father of two, chasing a level where the difference between third and thirtieth is execution, not effort.
What changed
Precision over volume
When time is fixed and small, volume is not the lever. Every session had to earn its place against the next thing that mattered, and recovery had to be protected hard enough that the hard days could actually be hard.
Where he finished
“Abraham took me from local competitor to 3rd best in the world in my weight class, with back-to-back championships along the way. As a father of two, my time is limited and execution is everything. The GOAT when it comes to coaches.”
A poor swimmer,
a 70.3 in three months.
Daragh's own word for his swimming was “poor”, and the swim is where most first-time middle-distance athletes either lose the day or lose their nerve. Three months on the clock.
The starting point
The swim was the limiter
An IRONMAN 70.3 on the calendar, twelve weeks out, and the weakest discipline sitting first in the race.
What changed
Ruthless prioritisation
A short runway rewards focus, not heroics. The limiter gets the attention, the other two disciplines hold steady, and the whole build stays inside what the body can absorb. A plan you can complete beats a plan that looks impressive.
★★★★★
“Went from a poor swimmer to an Ironman 70.3 finisher in 3 months under Abraham's guidance.”
Training that fits
an actual life.
Not every result is a podium. Amanda joined the club looking for what most athletes are really after: coaching that takes them seriously, whatever level they walk in at.
The starting point
A real week, not an ideal one
A life with a job and commitments in it, and a want for training that respects both rather than pretending they do not exist.
What changed
One system, every level
The club runs the same system for a first sprint and an Ironman PB, because the principle does not change with distance. Recovery leads, the plan adapts to the athlete in front of it, and nobody is left to guess.
★★★★★
“Joining the Unbroken Triathlon Club has been one of the best decisions I've made for my training. The coaching team is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely invested in each athlete's progress.”
None of them had more time.
They had a better order.
A world-level competitor, a nervous first-timer and a club member training around a job do not need different philosophies. They need the same one applied honestly: find the limiter, protect the recovery that makes adaptation possible, and only then add the work. Rated 5.0★ from 16 reviews on Google.
